Insolvency Support Services
Grove Chambers provides flexible, experienced insolvency support to insolvency practitioners and their teams, whether assistance is required with a particular case, a defined project or as additional resource during periods of increased workload.
Team and Operational Support
Grove Chambers can provide additional experienced resource where an insolvency team is temporarily stretched through staff absence, changing workloads or the need for additional senior-level support.
This can include overseeing casework undertaken by less experienced team members and providing practical support and guidance where required.
Experience with commonly used insolvency and document-management systems enables assignments to be undertaken with minimal familiarisation, helping to reduce the management time involved in bringing in temporary external resource.
Support can be structured around a defined project, particular cases, agreed weekly hours or a longer-term requirement.
Technical, Compliance and Reporting
Additional technical support can be provided where an IP or case team would benefit from an experienced independent review.
This can include informal compliance reviews, sense-checking existing case strategies, reviewing pre- and post-appointment notices and filings for accuracy and compliance, and preparing or reviewing statutory reports and case documentation.
The service is intended to provide practical technical support rather than a formal compliance audit. Any informal compliance review undertaken by Grove Chambers is intended to complement, and not replace, the firm’s existing compliance arrangements or the services provided by its appointed compliance adviser or provider.
Practical and Flexible Support
Grove Chambers provides experienced resource without the commitment and overhead associated with permanent recruitment.
Assignments can therefore be tailored to the actual requirement — from a discrete review or investigation through to regular ongoing case-management support.
The approach is commercial and pragmatic. Work should be proportionate to the issues involved, potential recoveries should be considered in the context of likely cost and benefit, and unnecessary activity should be avoided.
